Northshore Reconstruct - Project Update 7/10

Good Afternoon,

Construction is continuing to make progress this week. Construction will continue west of Penrose next week. Affected property Owners will be notified again before any new changes in access or loss of garage/driveway access during working hours. Please read on below for additional details:

Past Week Construction Activities

The Utility Contractor has:

• Installed 3 storm water inlets west of Penrose

• Finished all of the sanitary sewer installation on the project

• Finished installing concrete block mat on the west area

  
  

The Grading Contractor has:

• Stabilized 750' of subgrade on the east side of Northshore Drive.

Upcoming Construction Activities

The Utility Contractor will:

• Finish storm sewer construction along Northshore Drive

• Install concrete block mats at the east location

• Work on the watermain west of Penrose Drive

  
  

The Grading Contractor will:

• Continue stabilizing subgrade from east to west along Northshore Drive

• Place topsoil above the concrete block mats in the west area.

Access Updates

• Residents on the south side of Northshore Drive will have intermitted access to driveways. The Project team will try to communicate the temporary loss of access so Residents can plan ahead.

• Northshore will remain closed to all through traffic unless otherwise notified. Through traffic shall continue to use to the Highway 105 Detour.

• Penrose Residents will continue to utilize detour route and the temporary gravel access path from west end of construction limits.

• Residents west of Penrose on Northshore will utilize detour route and temporary gravel access path from west end of construction limits. Residents on south side may not have garage/driveway access during working hours as storm sewer progresses west.

• Residents east of Penrose on Northshore will utilize temporary gravel paths from east end of construction limits. Residents on south side may not have garage/driveway access during working hours as subgrade stabilization progresses west.
