On June 23, 2024, North Sioux City experienced an unprecedented flood event that devastated properties surrounding the McCook Lake area. In the advent of the storm, neighbors and City leaders are working together to move forward from this crisis and return to a form of normalcy. This site is dedicated toward the City’s recovery efforts and sharing information with stakeholders as it occurs. The links below provide information on work actively occurring at the site today and will be updated as work progresses. All are encouraged to subscribe to updates through the website. For more immediate information, project team contacts are provided and can be contacted directly. On behalf of City leaders, we and the project team are committed to the full recovery of this area. Together as a community we will strive to re-build North Sioux City Strong!
