Penrose Project Update

Penrose Drive Water Shutdown 6/23/25

Good Afternoon All,

Construction on Penrose will be starting back up in full force on Monday, June 23rd. The Contractor plans to begin watermain installation at the south end of Penrose, with that there will be a water shutoff beginning at approximately 8AM-mid-afternoon on that day (Monday June 23rd) for all residents of Penrose Drive. After your water is turned back on in the mid-afternoon, it is recommended to check your water for clarity before doing laundry or using it for any other household needs. If discoloration is noticeable, run a faucet or washing machine for several minutes prior to use. Should the discoloration persist, please contact Beau Rothschadl (605-661-0002).

The Contractor plans to continue watermain installation for the rest of the week. Residents outside of the construction area should use the temporary access road by the Elementary School, and Residents inside of the construction area should continue to utilize the parking area on Northshore Drive. Please do not drive through the construction area while the Contractor is working.
