Penrose Drive - Construction Update

Northshore Drive Detour

Good Afternoon All,

A previous post stated that the road would be reopened by tomorrow, August 15th. Due to construction delays and surface cleaning, Northshore Drive will now be reopened late Sunday afternoon, August 17th.

The mainline concrete paving on Penrose Drive is complete, but there is still work remaining on driveways and sidewalk construction. Penrose Drive will reopen to traffic for Penrose residents only sometime next week. Until otherwise notified, residents on the North end of Penrose should continue to utilize the temporary access route through the Dakota Valley Elementary parking lot. Please use extreme caution while navigating through the school property and parking lot now that school will be in session beginning Monday. Avoid the elementary parking lot during high traffic times if at all possible to not interrupt drop-off and pick-up.
