Northshore & Penrose Property Owner Meetings

Good Morning All,
Residents and Landowners whose property will be directly impacted by the Penrose & Northshore Drive Reconstruction will be receiving invitations this week to attend individual property Owner meetings to discuss impacts to their property as a result of construction and easements required for construction. This is not an open house for the general public and there will be no formal presentation.
If you receive one of these letters or are within the reconstruction area, please stop in to City Hall during one of the time periods listed below for a short conversation with City and Stockwell staff to discuss your impacts.
When: March 18th & 19th – 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Where: City Hall – 504 River Drive, North Sioux City, South Dakota
What: Private meeting with landowners to discuss project impacts
If you are unable to attend during the timeframes provided, please contact Ross Kutcha of Stockwell Engineers at (605) 338-6668 or by email at RKuchta@stockwellengineers.com to schedule an individual meeting. We will follow up with additional timeframes until all affected properties have had an opportunity to meet with the project team. Upon request, accommodations for this meeting will be provided for persons with disabilities. Please contact city hall during regular business hours at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
For those of you who are outside the construction area, but may be impacted by construction detours and traffic, there will be opportunities later to learn more about the project. We are in the process of completing our construction documents. Review of the project by FEMA and the Federal Highway Administration will take until the end of April, so we anticipate a May bid letting with construction beginning in late May or early June.
